A professor of the UVa defends during the COP25 the need of including new contents in sustainability in all the university degrees

That is what Adriana Correa, professor of Agricultural and Forestry Engineering in the Campus of Soria, said on the 9th of December during her speech in the discussion “Relevance of the Environmental Education versus Climate Change”, held in the Social Climate Summit of Madrid.

The professor of the University of Valladolid, Adriana Correa Guimaraes, from the Department of Agricultural and Forestry Engineering in the Campus of Soria, took part on the 9th of December as a visiting speaker in a round table about “Relevance of the Environmental Education versus the Climate Change”, held within the similar activities programmed in the Complutense University of Madrid under the generic name “Beyond the COP25: People for Climate", on the occasion of the Social Climate Summit recently closed in Madrid.

The professor Correa Guimaraes joins the list of professors and researchers of the University of Valladolid, who have taken part in the COP25 and she could present during her speech the studies being developed by the Work Group about Curricular Sustainability of the sectorial CRUE-Sostenibilidad, in which the University of Valladolid takes part as a representative.

Furthermore, she took advantage of defending the important role of the Universities training in the sustainability of those who will be the leaders in the future, and who are currently studying at the University. For this reason, the skills and the contents in sustainability must be included in all the university degrees.
