Law and Health Attention Professionals discuss in the School of Law of the UVa about health mediation
Law and Health Attention specialists and professionals have taken part this Thursday, the 12th of December, in the Assembly Hall of the School of Law of the University of Valladolid in the conference “Health mediation: an opportunity for the Health Service of Castile and León, for the Administration and the patients”.
After the inauguration of the conference in charge of Javier García Medina, director of the Human Rights Observatory and the Legal Clinic of the UVa, there will be two round tables, the first one about “mediation in health organizations. The management plan of conflicts and mediation of the Health Service of Castile and León (SACYL by its abbreviation in Spanish)”, and “mediation, an opportunity for the resolution of conflicts between the health administration, its professionals, insurance companies, and patients? Are there possibilities of contentious-administrative mediation”.
Among the attendees, Francisco Javier Roig, chief of the Safety and Health Service in the Work of professionals from the Directorate-General in the Council; José María Romo, manager of the Hospital Universitario of Burgos; Antonio Cano, intermediary of the Hospital Universitario Rio Hortega; Francisco Javier Zataraín, judge of the Chamber for Contentious proceedings of the High Court of Justice of Castile and León; and Julia Saornil, Patient Care supervisor of the Hospital Rio Carrión of Palencia.
