The Green Water Spanish project wins the European Start-up Women´s Cup competition, held in the Netherlands. This project is held by three students of the UVa: Luna Fontecha, Chemistry; Sofía Lana, Commerce, and Andrea Fernández, dual degree in Law and ABM; and it is focused within the Hillary Project, led by the UVa, co-financed by the Erasmus Plus Program and made in cooperation with the institutions of the Netherlands, Lithuania, Italy, United Kingdom, Romania and Norway.

With the Green Water entrepreneurship, the three students of the University of Valladolid want to fight against the climate change from the company´s point of view by substituting the organic matter for plastics, such as the sugar plant, avocado seed or the potato peeling. The deterioration of these organic polymers is about 90 days and they are compostable; on the contrary, the plastics take between one hundred and one thousand years to degrade.
