The University of Valladolid and Pajarillos Educa signs a cooperation agreement for revitalizing the neighborhood and promoting its education development
The Chancellor of the University of Valladolid, Antonio Largo Cabrerizo, and the coordinators of the Pajarillos Educa Platform, Javier Alonso Magaz, and Alberto Rodríguez Gonzalo, have signed in the Palace of Santa Cruz, headquarters of the UVa, a cooperation agreement for the development of academic, cultural and scientific relations which revitalize this neighborhood and contribute to the education success.

The Chancellor of the University of Valladolid congratulates the coordinators of the Pajarillos Educa Platform after the agreement´s signature
Under the shelter of this agreement, it will encourage the participation of professors of the University of Valladolid, with senior theses and Master´s theses, in training and research actions linked to the education and social activity of Pajarillos Educa. Furthermore, both institutions will offer their staff and students the possibility of getting involved in joint initiatives through practices and university extension activities.
The signed agreement reinforces the collaboration links between the University of Valladolid and the Pajarillos Educa Platform with projects in favor of the progress of the education, economy, culture and environmental protection of Valladolid.
Pajarillos Educa is a platform that binds the 12 education communities of the neighborhood of Pajarillos together, where 40 nationalities coexist. From several nature actions, they go after the acquisition of two clear objectives: on one hand, to promote the social and educational success and the neighbors’ participation in encouraging the improvement of the coexistence and the living conditions of the neighborhood. On the other hand, to combine processes of learning and of serving the neighborhood in an only project well joint in which the participants learn to work in real needs of the environment.
Pajarillos Educa is integrated within the project Red Pajarillos, which develops the coordination and the interrelation between associations and entities of the neighborhood which want to establish synergies and develop common proposals.
