Thanks to the advice of the professor Javier López Alarma, Amaya took a step forward and took part in the competition, which consisted of creating a story and uploading it to the Instagram network. One of the guidelines is she has to talk about a social issue, as the European Parliament is interested in the problems which nowadays concern young people (racism, machismo, environment, food, etc.).
With regard to the technical part, Amaya Polvorosa decided to make a college, an option which gave her flexibility when representing the differences among human beings, besides the idea of different human races. The objective was to create the believe that: “equality is in the differences, we do not should consider ourselves as unique, but also so different and equal in rights”,
With this idea, Amaya uploaded her collage, and a few days later she received an answer in which they told her she has been chosen as one of the thirty students chosen for the following round among more than 500 proposals, to show her design in the European Parliament of Brussels.
