Two professors of the UVa take part in a European project to give teachers new methods for stopping child abuse

Luis Carro and Manuel Carabias, members of the GIR (Recognized Research Group) “Qualifications, professionals, employability and undertaking of the School of Education of the UVa collaborate in this initiative which contemplates the use of the Augmented Reality

The professors of the department of Pedagogy of the University of Valladolid, Luis Carro, and Manuel Carabias have traveled to Croatia for taking part in the first meeting of the Project “Stop Child Abuse Through effective training and augmented reality”, with which they want to promote the prevention of child and youth sexual abuse offering an innovative method of learning to teachers and youth workers through the augmented reality (VR).

The project is carried out in the University of Valladolid in the GIR Qualifications, professionals, employability and social undertaking, of the School of Education and Social Work, which will have a fundamental role in the development of the project, because it will contribute to the design of new methods and the alienation of training with the European Frame of Qualifications and Europass.
